Origin
These pages contain some of the experiences of the maintainer. It originally was a personal home page, which was severely outdated. Instead of taking that offline, the relevant material was taken from that page and transformed into a more general Brazilian percussion page.

Goal
The contents of these pages are limited. Time permitting, it will grow. The maintainer will add from his own experience, but contributions, suggestions and tips are very welcome.
